Using HandpickedRoles means you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or older. One account per person, for your own search.
A small set of job roles delivered each day, selected and scored against a standard built from your own words, with the evidence behind each score shown on the card.
We are not a recruiter, staffing agency, or career counselor. We do not apply to jobs for you, and we make no promise of interviews, responses, offers, or employment. The service finds and explains postings. What happens after is between you and the employer.
Scores, cards, and explanations are produced by automated systems, including AI models, judging postings against your own standard. They are judgments, not facts and not advice. Read the original posting before acting on anything we wrote about it.
Roles come from external feeds and employer career sites. A posting can be stale, misdescribed, already filled, or withdrawn, and we cannot verify them. Applying happens on the employer's site under the employer's terms.
Sign-in is through Google. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page. If you have a live paid plan, cancel it first, then delete.
Three plans. 5 roles daily at $9.99, 10 at $17.99, 20 at $29.99, per month, renewing monthly until you cancel. A 7-day free trial with no card is available on the 5 and 10 plans only. One free trial per person. We enforce this with a one-way hash of your email that we keep even if you delete your account. Payment is processed by Stripe as the merchant of record under Stripe's own terms. Your card details, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation live in the Stripe billing portal, reached from your Account page.
Upgrades take effect and bill immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund partial periods. Promotional pricing is temporary. When a promotion ends, the plan bills at its listed price, as disclosed at checkout.
Your plan's daily number is a maximum, not a quota. On a thin day you get fewer roles, and the product says so rather than padding the list.
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the roles or their scores. Do not share your account. Do not probe or disrupt the systems. We can suspend or close an account that does.
The service and the content it generates are ours. Job postings belong to the employers who wrote them. The standard you write is yours. You give us permission to use it to run the service for you, and nothing more.
HandpickedRoles is young. Features, coverage, and behavior will change, and we may modify or discontinue the service with notice. If we discontinue it, paid subscribers get their remaining paid time or a refund of it. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY ABOUT THE ACCURACY OF SCORES, CARDS, OR POSTINGS.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stands. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement. Material changes to these terms will be announced in the product before they take effect.
