About HandpickedRoles

HandpickedRoles is a service that finds a small number of job roles for experienced professionals each day. You describe the work you want in your own words. We build a standard from that description, score postings against it, and show the evidence behind each score. The service is run by The Workshoppers LLC.

What this site is for

The public site shares what we learn from job postings that state pay. It shows pay by role and experience band, and what employers are posting. It is free to read and needs no account. The figures are our own aggregates, built by the method on the methodology page. They describe posted pay, not what people earn.

How it is paid for

Two ways. The signed-in app is a paid subscription, and the public site carries ads. The app shows no ads and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. We do not use personalized or remarketing ads on pages that reveal someone is looking for a job. See the privacy policy for detail.

What we are not

We are not a recruiter or staffing agency. We do not apply for you, and we do not sell your information to employers.
